Welding & Weldments

Eight stations deep: 7-axis Fronius robotic cell, 2 kW IPG laser welder, push-pull, MIG & TIG.

The welding department runs eight stations deep: a 7-axis robotic welder on a Fronius TPI-400, a 2 kW IPG laser welder, a Fronius TPI-320 push-pull for clean aluminum wire work, four Miller 252 MIG stations, and a Miller 250DX TIG bench. The robotic and laser cells deliver the repeatability that volume work demands while skilled hand-welders handle the one-offs and the tricky joints.

Fixtured robotic cells carry the repeat work. The 7-axis Fronius cell lays the same weld the thousandth time it lays it the first time, while the IPG laser welder handles thin stainless and aluminum where heat distortion would ruin a cosmetic part. Four MIG stations run production in parallel, and the TIG bench and push-pull aluminum rig take the joints that still need a skilled hand.

Common questions

What welding equipment do you run?

Eight stations: a 7-axis robotic welder on a Fronius TPI-400, a 2 kW IPG laser welder, a Fronius TPI-320 push-pull for aluminum wire, four Miller 252 MIG stations, and a Miller 250DX TIG bench.

Can you weld aluminum and stainless?

Yes. TIG and the push-pull aluminum MIG rig cover aluminum; TIG and laser welding handle stainless where clean, low-distortion joints matter.
